Annually, the American Business Women’s Association New York City Charter Chapter awards The Stephen Bufton Memorial Scholarship Fund’s Outright Grant to one deserving student entering her Junior year or higher at one of our participatory universities or colleges. The Grant, in the amount of $1,500 is to be used for tuition, books and/or school-related fees. The application period opens in October and runs through February, and the subsequent award is made in the late summer for use in the upcoming semester. The application and criteria will be made available online through the ABWA NYC Charter Chapter’s website in the October Newsletter.

Direct donations have also been made to the Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund (SBMEF).

The women of our New York City Charter Chapter are continually dedicating themselves to promoting the professional, educational, cultural, and social advancement of business women.
